Oval hand tooled leather picture of a polar bear cub climbing out of the water. This is the last picture I was working on at the request of my mentor when she passed away from her 3rd battle with cancer. I stopped working on it for a few years as my heart wasn’t in it when she had helped me on how to get a white polar bear to show up on a white snow background (or foreground). Eventually I could look at it and hear her asking me to finish it…so I did. I’m sure she would have loved it. The picture of the bear is bordered with a basket-weave pattern. Fully hand painted. The frame is gold colored plastic with floral scrolls molded at the top and bottom. Wire on back for hanging. Frame size is 11″ wide by 9″ tall.
